Seventh Generation Rising recognizes the importance of indigenous language preservation, especially for non-federally recognized First Nation People. As such, we have archived hundreds of songs with the expressed consent and permission of Native elders, First Nation wisdom keepers, and fluent language speakers. These resources will be made available to First Nation community members.

Retreat-style, Wilderness Initiative for youth and families on lands between San Francisco and Monterey counties. Embodying the resiliency of California Bay Area Indigenous people, we help participants appreciate the efforts of their ancestors, to understand what is at stake in today’s ecosystems and to plan for the future. One future retreat will occur in an Ohlone village in San Gregorio.
