Chibcha/Nasa ancestry fuels Paul’s ongoing devotion to walking the red road and contributing to non-profit work. The greater part of his life has been in the role of service. As a Cub Scout, massage therapist, becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic and supporting in indigenous ceremonies, serving appeared in many forms. It was with his adopted Cherokee father Yellowhorseman, that Paul began his deep learning into indigenous teachings and their value in personal, professional and family growth. 

Today he finds great joy in hearing and seeing his 3 year-old son carrying on traditions in singing, drumming and dancing. Paul lends his support to New Fire with the excitement of seeing his own child joining and sharing in many of the amazing New Fire programs.
